Happy Autumn Time!

I fogot to mention the most Important part about these pumpkins...
They are from Pagah and Grama Annie's GARDEN!!!!
YES, AMAZING!!!
I love the Autumn time where it’s not too hot and not too cold, the kids are excited about everything and there seems to be plenty to keep everyone busy. Carving pumpkins this year was so fun. Alana would finally put her hand in the pumpkin and dig out the goo. Ammon and Marrick thought we were crazy.
Ammon had a bat on one side and a ghost on the other.

Aaron always does the “Aaron Face.” On the back is a big Y.

Alana carved the whole pumpkin by herself, very impressive.

This is Marrick having the time of his life! Mom was gone and Daddy gave the Kids Chocolate pudding. Mmmmmmm....

Hey, if you get a chance, check out my blog for my newest project. www.flipforfamilynight.blogspot.com
I had an interview with Deseret Book yesterday in Salt Lake to try and get my books in their stores. We will see. My sister Emma did an amazing job illustrating them and I took the photographs and wrote them. They are in flip chart form, individual Family Home Evening lessons that are quick and easy. They have taken a lot of time, but they have been fulfilling.

Life Happens....

Ok, so I was painting the bathroom bead board and cabinets a beautiful white the other day. I was in the clean up stage, had been painting all day and needed to finish the clean up in the bathroom. I put the paint bucket outside with the wet brushes and went inside to clean. I did not shut the main door and Marrick knows how to open the screen. Yes, the rest is, well white…. I did laugh and took the time to get the camera, because, well, what else do you do?
This is Alana and Ammon's new invention they do almost every day. Somehow they both get up on their swing and balance. These two are such good friends! They were starting to fight towards the end of the summer, but now when Alana gets home, they are playing non stop.
Every time Grama Annie comes over, Marrick says goodbye to mom and wants to ride home with Grama. This is him saying, "see ya mom" Grama drives around the block and then brings him home. He is happy with that but sure LOVES that Grama.
This is Marrick’s favorite thing to do…. Make messes!!! Is there anything better to do with a Sunday paper?

Here is the clean up crew! Good job crew!!!

Camping

Camping with the kiddos...

We had a lot of fun and the kids loved it! Alana started the coolest bug collection ever and Ammon said he found Africa. We waited for lions to come out of the dry Utah grass. Marrick thought playing outside 24/7 was the best thing in the world. Now it's time for cold weather! Goodbye wonderful summer:(

Not only did the little boys get really dirty...
