Ward Primary Talent Show

For our Primary activity we had a Primary/ward Talent show. It was so much fun and so easy to plan. The kids did everything from riding their bike, one showed a rug she made, skits, songs, walking on toes, etc. Everyone was really creative. We made it a picnic talent show. Everyone brought a dozen cookies and a blanket to sit on with their family.

This was my primary presidency in our Sychronized swimming skit. Yes, I'm a nerd :) No girls, you are not nerds, you were graceful and perfect :)

The kids did a cute song Alana learned in school. Sorry, you can barely hear it.

Summer Box

My sister Jenna told me about this WONDERFUL idea last year:
We had way too many toys accumulated after 3 kids and 7 years of Christmas' and birthdays. So, we have a Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer box. We put away certain toys and stuffed animals and the kids don't see them for 9 months. Today after the house, backyard, rooms were cleaned and Spring box was cleaned out and put away, the Summer box came out! This is an hour later. Thanks Jenna for the best idea EVER! Highly recommend it if you have the storage space :)

A visit from the Cothrans :)

Aren't they cute! Hangin' before the BBQ.

This was so cute! Our cousins across the street just got kitties and Nanna and Marrick were enjoying them together. This was the highlight of the weekend! Mom on the tramp?!!!! Wooo hooo! She was so dang cute that I had to get a video. We are just glad they really are coming back soon. They were on their way to Texas for Bryan's graduation and then back through Utah to Washington. Love you guys! Thanks for comin' to visit:)

SUMMER is HERE~ and so were the Days!

Schools out for the Summer!~
The kiddos in Grama's car and Pagah and Grama's sunglasses.
Already they jumped into any adventure they could find! Namely...Birds? Yes, somehow Alana captured 2 within a week and this little one she brought into the house and let it go inside. It was so terrified that Alana had time to build this "nest" for it outside the back door. How do you catch a bird? This would be her 3rd now. Maybe she will be a veterinarian after all.So next we got to have Jenna and her two girls here for a week. One of the many benefits of living close to Grama is that family comes to see us :) Eleanor fit right in with our little rascals. She is sweet as ever and spunky,
just the way we like 'em~This is sweet baby Savannah. What a doll!!! She was so sweet and adorable! We are in withdrawals from this sweet baby girl!Ammon and Eleanor became the best of buds. They played non stop the whole week.I love Eleanor's dress hanging out! They fought once and that was when other kids were around. We even had her over for a sleep over and they did great and had so much fun!Eleanor is just a sweetheart. She watches every one around her very closely and then jumps in to play. I think because her brothers are such animal kids she fit in so well. Come back soon! We miss you already~ We played at Grama's. Marrick kept picking Grama's clematis flowers
Hello, I'm vine girl~

And I'm vine boy.

Happy Summer friends and Cousins

Life at the Cothran's

So here is a picture-filled rundown on the Cothran's:

Yes, we had to dig up our front lawn and put in a new water main. We have done a Lot of yard work lately! We saved money by doing a lot of it ourselves. Whew! After the guy we hired HAND dug this trench, our neighbor showed up with this back hoe. Our guy we hired dug it in 3 hours and he said machines rip up everything (sprinkler lines, sidewalk, etc..). Well, at least the neighborhood had fun on the backhoe!Marrick was especially ecstatic:)This was so funny! I was wondering why Ammon was wearing overalls! He hates them! Grandma Annie and Pagah fixed our ride-on horse Neigh-neigh and it is the new hit toy again! I LOVE it when Daddy reads stories.

Oh Marrick! What are we going to do with our sweet 2 year old boy!

He sure loves a good mess to play in.

I was looking at Alana on Sunday before church and I just had to snap a shot at how grown up she looks to me! She has gotten taller lately and with her hair all pulled up she just looked too old. Alana is such an amazing girl with a big heart. Love you Lani!~

Random post, I know. Just one of those weeks :)
