Ahhhh, spring are you really here? I love Easter time! It's a time to celebrate the birth, life and
resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We began Easter by decorating eggs, having an egg hunt at the church, thanks to good, organized friends and a spring hunt at Grandma's house.
When I was a kid my mom always hid a "silver egg." It always had special candy, and money. One year I think it had 10 bucks! Some of the crazy places my mom hid it was in the compost pile, in a mole hole under a trap, in the garbage disposal in the sink, taped under a table and once she even sewed it into the curtains! We were a little more low key. The "golden egg"was hidden in the dryer vent outside. It took the kids about 10 minutes and lots of hints to find it. Our cousin Lexi finally found it.

Alana and I figured out this year that you can paint on the dye from the eggs. We also glued on colored sand. We should have taken a final product picture~

Those are some cute kiddos, I must admit.
I should have taken the pictures AFTER church, maybe we wouldn't have been so rushed or so grumpy! Thanks Auntie Jenna for the hand me down matching vests. Perfect!

So I must admit, with 2 posts on the same day and all, that my computer freaked out for a few days and I have not felt like babying it back to health after it has recovered from it's many viruses. Poor computer (dang computer!) Right now we are just enjoying spring break, having our daddy home more often and no snow, no matter how rainy and cold it is. Life is good, how could it not be with so many blessings?!!!
